About The Dark Rites of Arkham

Detective Jack Foster rejoins the police department after a traumatic incident to take over the investigation of what appears to be mere political blackmail. Soon, however, he's faced with the discovery of a gruesome ritual murder that took place in a sealed room, from which no one could have gotten in or out without being seen. Along with his new partner, Harvey Whitman, an expert on cults, Foster dives deep into the shadows of the city of Arkham.

Gameplay

This pulp and click adventure game revolves around dialogue and inventory puzzles, challenging players to uncover clues and solve intricate mysteries. Explore over 90 detailed pixel art backgrounds as you navigate the eerie world of Arkham, interacting with characters and piecing together the dark truth behind the case.

Story

The case takes a darker turn when Detective Foster and his partner uncover a connection to three witches who escaped the Salem trials in 1693. As they delve deeper, they unravel a sinister conspiracy that threatens to end the world as we know it. The narrative draws inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, featuring well-known characters such as Herbert West, Keziah Mason, Doctor Eric Moreland, and Henry Armitage.
