The Sayl the Faithless DLC pack introduces the treacherous sorcerer as a playable Legendary Lord for Immortal Empires and Custom Battles. Sayl leads the Dolgans from the new four-region province of Mountain’s End, rising to power through lies and betrayal.

Gameplay

Sayl the Faithless thrives on cunning and deception rather than brute force. His unique mechanics, Manipulations and Dark Ritual, allow him to weaken enemies by disrupting their logistics, settlements, and diplomatic ties. However, overusing Manipulations risks attracting dark consequences. The Dark Ritual mechanic lets Sayl channel arcane power through Chaos Altars, unlocking battles, events, and dilemmas as he seeks ultimate power. His army combines sorcery, monstrous allies, and betrayal-forged units, offering a distinct playstyle focused on strategy and subterfuge.

Story

Sayl’s rise began when he manipulated his tribe into a Daemonic ritual, only to sabotage it and fuse his peers into the monstrous Chaos Spawn Nightmaw—his mindless but loyal companion. Now, as the Twisted Seer of the Waste, he schemes his way to dominance, using lies and treachery to outmaneuver both enemies and allies. His quest for power is fraught with danger, as his own machinations may turn against him if he grows too reckless.
