SpellForce 3: Fallen God

Spellforce 3 was released in 2017, so fans had to wait many years for the next part of the popular series. Fortunately, Grimlore Games was up to the task and produced a game that collected very high marks among both fans and critics. The developers do not settle on their laurels, so we can enjoy the next, full-legal additions that are available - one of them is SpellForce 3: Fallen God, which does not require the base video game to play.

Spellforce 3 Fallen God Plot

The plot of the DLC was located on a new continent - Ugrath, where it inhabits many civilized and reasonable races. There we will meet the leader of the migratory trolls, Akrog, who is increasingly desperately trying to save the falling tribe of his confrere. The situation looks very despairing because trolls are harassed by various groups of poachers, decimated by diseases, and deprived of hope for a better tomorrow. The only desperate plan is to listen to the words of a mysterious dark elf and embark on a long journey through the whole of Ugrath, at the end of which there is little hope of salvation.

The assumptions of the add-on remained unchanged compared to Spellforce 3 - it's still an excellent RTS with addictive gameplay. In a campaign that should take us about twenty hours, the new solutions proposed by the creators deserve special attention. First of all, the expansion introduces a new, playable breed of trolls, which has unique skills, reflecting the nomadic lifestyle.

The decisions we make during the game will affect the heroes' abilities so that we can adapt them to their needs. It is also up to us how the tribe's history ends. Spellforce 3 Fallen God, in addition to the story campaign, in which we have the opportunity to play a new race - already mentioned trolls - also introduces other game modes. The expansion also introduces a novelty in online gameplay: ranked mode based on one-on-one clashes. Gain fame among your friends!

SpellForce 3: Fallen God is the second expansion that draws handfuls from the original - also here we will not find limiting character classes, so we will experience a completely new system of character development. The graphic design remains unchanged from the original, but a new atmospheric soundtrack has been prepared, emphasizing the specific atmosphere of the continent. Also not forgotten about modders - they were provided with a special, extensive tool that allows you to create author's maps.
