Modern and Vintage Bass Sounds
EZbass includes two core sound libraries designed for different musical contexts. The Modern library delivers a powerful, defined tone suitable for contemporary rock, pop and metal, while the Vintage library provides a warmer and more rounded character for jazz, blues, country and softer productions. Separate pickup options allow users to shape and blend each instrument’s sound.
Create Basslines from MIDI or Audio
The software can generate bass parts that follow imported drum or keyboard MIDI, helping songwriters quickly build a connected rhythm section. Its Audio Tracker can also analyze recorded guitar, keyboard, bass or other audio material and convert the performance into editable MIDI. This makes it possible to replace a guide recording with a detailed virtual bass performance.
Arrange and Edit Complete Performances
The integrated Song Track lets users assemble intros, verses, choruses, bridges and other song sections without leaving EZbass. Grooves can be rearranged, shortened or extended to fit the composition. For more precise editing, the Grid Editor provides control over individual notes, articulations, velocity and performance details.
Realistic Articulations and Mix-Ready Tones
EZbass includes articulations designed to recreate the natural behavior of a real bass player, from fingered and picked notes to slap and pop techniques. A collection of production-ready presets combines amplifier and cabinet simulation with effects, while direct-input options allow users to process the clean bass signal with external plug-ins.
