Wartorn is a single-player, squad-based roguelite where players take on the roles of Yara and Elani, sisters exiled from their home. They must journey through the wartorn Isles of Talaur to reach Beynun, their ancestral fortress. Harness the elements, command a caravan of fantasy creatures, and fight through dynamic battles in this strategic adventure.

Gameplay

Wartorn features real-time squad-based combat with a deep elemental system. Players recruit and upgrade fantasy creatures, forming a caravan with unique abilities. Strategic positioning, squad synergies, and mastery of fire, water, tar, plant, and lightning elements are key to survival. Manage morale, food, and squad health as you navigate an overworld map filled with branching paths and unpredictable events.

Story

Driven from their homeland, sisters Yara and Elani embark on a perilous journey across the wartorn land of Talaur. Along the way, they search for their lost family, uncovering fragments of their past and gaining powerful heirlooms that aid in future runs. The narrative unfolds through dynamic events, shaping each playthrough with new challenges and discoveries.
