Your subjects need much more than food. Build taverns, churches, schools and graveyards. Cure plagues, extinguish fires, snuff out rebellions. Gather goods – from firewood and shoes to fine robes, stained glass windows and siege machine ammunition. Trade with your neighbours and use a novel building range system to connect fields, mines, workshops, granaries and marketplaces into a fine-tuned mechanism to meet the needs of even the most finicky residents.
Politics and war
You have plenty of decrees to proclaim. Use them to celebrate feasts and make your subjects happy – or to drown rebellions in blood.
