Journey to the Savage Planet is an adventure game released in 2020. You will become a new member of the Kindred Aerospace – one of the top aerospace interstellar exploration companies. You got chosen to reach the new planet and explore it for the sake of humanity and ensure that it is the right place to start the new population.

As the game focuses on exploration and discovery, your job is going to be stepping into the unknown and using your skills and equipment to traverse the vast territory of the planet ARY-26 for the future of humanity. As an astronaut, you get your personal AI assistant E.K.O. which helps you on your mission and, as several other elements of the game, serves as a humorous addition to the gameplay. Mysterious creatures and plants live on the planet, and being the explorer here, your mission is to catalogue all the fauna and flora of the planet by scanning them and putting the information into the system. This exploration is going to require resources, which can be collected and used to craft items needed for discovering previously inaccessible areas.

Crafting and puzzles

Apart from friendly alien creatures, the player can encounter various hostile life forms, and to defend yourself you need to carry weapons such as laser guns or acid grenades. But you cannot trust in the technology completely, be aware that the equipment can fail sometimes and you will have to rely on yourself to fix it. Be careful as for what you are eating or inhaling as they may have a significant impact on your bio and health functions. Numerous areas may require you to use your brain as the game features puzzles to resolve to progress further. The game is played from the first-person perspective, and it can be enjoyed solo or with a friend through the online multiplayer cooperative mode.
