Budokai Tenkaichi is back!

It’s time to get fighting again with Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero! Following the great success of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 1, 2, and 3, the brand-new instalment of the series allows its players to take part in another round of high-speed, adrenaline-fueled 3D arena battles. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is the first Budokai Tenkaichi game to be on Steam, making it a huge milestone for the series you don’t want to miss out on.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero can be played in single-player mode as well as various multiplayer modes, including online PvP and local multiplayer. Shared/split-screen PvP is available, so feel free to play with your friends offline! The game utilises the advanced technologies of Unreal Engine 5, making it the most visually stunning, truly modern chapter of the classic anime and video game series.

Amazing game modes

Fight your way to become a champion with multiple exciting tournament modes and victory conditions. You can choose between various game modes available since the beginning of the game, including single- and multiplayer modes alike. All of them contain both classic Budokai Tenkaichi gameplay elements and a plethora of new features, such as techniques, counter commands, skill count, and customisation options.

Episode Battle is a single-player mode mixing storytelling and fighting gameplay elements, in which you can control eight different characters from the franchise. Each stage comes from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, but as some of them allow the player to make some plot-related choices, certain episodes may differ from the original story.

Custom Battle is another mode in which you can fight in battles with original scenes. They also contain Bonus Battles, and include Edit Mode that allows players to use various modifications to customise their battles - from freely selected characters to play as, through facial expressions and effects, all the way to camera cuts. You can also prove your skill and share your fights with the rest of the world!

Impressive roster

The Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero video game features 164 characters known from the series, surpassing Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3’s already impressive roster. Play as returning characters such as Goku, Gohan, Trunks, or Vegeta, as well as fully new ones, such as Jiren, Caulifla, Fused Zamasu, and Goku Black - just to name a few. Some of the returning characters got new versions and transformations as well!

Step on visually stunning arenas of various battle stages - a rocky area of Gizard Wasteland, the modern West City and Destroyed West City, Tournament of Power Arena, and more!
