The game is based on the comic book series created by Marvel Comics. In the game, players take on the role of Peter 'Star Lord' Quill, who together with his friends is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a group of outcasts from different corners of the universe doing whatever they can to protect those who need help (for the right price of course). Story Background
During one of seemingly simple mission, the Guardians accidentally set in motion a series of events that endanger the whole galaxy.
