Nova Drift is an action-packed space arcade game developed by Chimeric and published by Pixeljam. Initially released on March 27, 2019, this indie title pays homage to classic arcade space shooters while introducing modern game mechanics.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Nova Drift revolves around a simple yet addictive concept: players control a single ship and must survive an onslaught of enemy waves in the vastness of space. However, what sets Nova Drift game apart from classic arcade space shooters is its deep customization and upgrade system. As players progress and defeat enemies, they earn experience points, which allow them to level up and acquire new upgrades, called "mods." Game Modes

Practice Mode allows them to experiment with various mods and strategies in a low-pressure environment, helping to refine their playstyle and find the most effective loadouts. Endless Mode, after finishing the last battle, challenges players to survive infinite waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Wild Metamorphosis Mode introduces powerful, unpredictable upgrades that significantly alter the gameplay, offering a more chaotic and unpredictable experience.
