The first is simple: "kill your enemy until he dies", as young gamers might put it. The second one is much more interesting.

In Undertale you might talk with every enemy and show him the error of the path which they choose. It might be not as easy as it sounds. Each enemy is different. Their motivation, history, characters. Each aspect has a meaning. For example, there is skeleton knight known as Papyrus.
