Deceive Inc. is a game with crossplay support where players play the role of spies tasked with a seemingly simple objective: grab the secret package and safely leave the scene before the others. It’s a multiplayer-oriented game and as such it’s highly competitive – you will face other participants who have the exact same mission to complete as you. You must move swiftly and disguise as non-player characters to outsmart the opponents. Clever use of various spy gadgets can help you greatly, but don’t let your guard down – your competitors have access to similar tools.
Deceive Inc. is a variation of an extraction-type game, where your main task is to locate the package, grab it, and bring it back safely to the extraction point while avoiding other players who have the exact same mission. Levels are full of non-player characters and you can never know who’s really an NPC and who’s actually a player disguised as one. It’s a true test of your deception and awareness skills.
There’s a lot of room for improvisation and multiple ways to surprise the opponents and get the job done. You can come up with clever strategies and approach the task in different ways. You can, for example, try to grab the package and make an escape, but you can also wait patiently and ambush other players who may have already retrieved the package – just steal it from them and run.
Deceive video game features multiple playable agents, each offering a slightly different playstyle, opening up alternative ways to play and engage with the content. This freedom is further emphasized by customizable gadget loadouts, allowing players to make further adjustments that will suit their favored playstyle best.
The story doesn’t play a major role in the game – Deceive Inc. is all about having fun in a series of competitive multiplayer encounters in a spy-themed environment.
