Enshrouded is a best-selling open world survival game created by the independent German studio, Keen Games GmbH, known for their best-selling production Portal Knights (2017). The game was published by the developers in Steam Early Access in January of 2024.

Enshrouded is an open-world survival game with role-playing, exploration and base-building elements as well as challenging combat. The game can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes, with 16-player co-op games available to join at any time. Characters developed in the single-player mode can be used on online servers, so don’t hesitate to jump in and experience cooperative adventures with your friends or random players!

Discover the secrets of the realm consumed with deadly Shroud, mutating and destroying everything that comes in its way.

Your brave character will climb their way through the impressive skill tree by gaining experience points - and they will do so mainly by completing various quests and defeating hordes of monsters plaguing the area. Face many types of abominable creatures inhabiting Embervale’s forests, caves, deserts and dungeons, and test your skills in countless boss fights. Use your dexterity, fighting abilities, powerful spells and strategic thinking in dynamic, soulslike-ish combats - then gather the loot and keep fighting the Shroud! Remember that crafting weapons (such as swords, staffs and bows) and armor is a must in the dangerous world of Embervale - and don’t forget to take care of your character’s needs to keep them safe and healthy at all times!
