Geo-Core nodes power the Timpi decentralized search engine organizing other node‘ work and increasing their efficiency. They can be operated using you own hardware, or outsourced to third party service providers like Node Orbit. Hardware requirements for running one on your own can be found in our Knowledge Base.
Node operators receive monthly rewards in the $NTMPI token. While node operators will continue earning reward for as long as Timpi exists, they have minimum guaranteed reward values per month for the coming years:
- Pool per node / month till Aug 2026 800
- Pool per node / month Sep 2026 - Aug 2027 400
- Pool per node / month Sep 2027 - Aug 2028 300
Node operators typically earn significantly more, as rewards are pooled and active nodes share the rewards alotted to inactive nodes. In addition node operators get bonuses within special Apex Events and ranks within the Timpi loyalty program - Knights Timplar.
