Democracy 4 is a simulation video game in which you play as the leader of a country and try to manage in a way that your people approve of. Be prepared to choose policies, laws, and plans for the future. Have fun in this ultimate sandbox of political turmoil. Democracy 4 is a strategy game which has received positive reviews from players, it is praised for its smoother than its predecessors gameplay and better and clearer user interface.

Influence your people

After winning elections, become the head of a country ready to be governed by non-other than you. Be responsible for not only the state but also for your people (whether they are for or against your regime). Model their opinions, beliefs, and thoughts. After all, you want to be re-elected, so be prepared to make difficult decisions, sometimes even against your own conscience, only to win the hearts of your people.

Will you manage?

Finally, instead of sitting in front of the TV whining about ineffective laws and regulations, you can take control of the political situation yourself. You will have to manage the budget, keep an eye on public opinion and watch out for terrorist attacks. You will quickly realize how difficult it is to keep all of this in mind while trying to change your society for the better!

Test out your political ideas

Do you keep up with the latest controversial topics? Well, whether the answer is yes or no, Democracy 4 makes it possible to see how the society will react to legalization of all drugs, the prohibition of abortion, the recognition of transgender people's rights, significant investments in green energy and the arming of all your police officers with machine-guns. If you are curious enough, you can see all that and more in the Democracy 4 video game.

Your limitation — it's only your imagination!

It may appear to be a typical strategy game where you control a country, however there is much more to it. As President, you are free to lead your people the way you like. Whether you want to abolish all taxes, nationalize water companies or introduce universal pay, you can do so. The only way to know if it works is to put it to the test!

Handle crisis situations

Be cautions of rising inflation and corruption. Whether you encourage them or not, think about public opinion and be reasonable. Will you address the debt and capitalism issues? Maybe, you will come up with a better political system than those which already exist. Run the politics of your country the way you want it and find out.
