ARK: Survival Ascended

ARK: Survival Ascended is an open-world survival game - a redesigned and remastered version of the smash hit ARK: Survival Evolved from 2017. The game was developed by Studio Wildcard, Grove Street Games and Instinct Games, and published by Studio Wildcard and Snail Games USA in Steam Early Access in October of 2023.

Survival Ascended is an improved version of Survival Evolved, now using Unreal Engine 5 with its instanced rendering, threaded server networking, custom physics engine and other performance gains as well as high-end graphic features such as Lumen and Nanite technologies. The critically acclaimed base game has been completely rebuilt for the best next-gen ARK experience and improved with various changes to the user interface, map and tracking systems, dynamic navigation, and more.

ARK: Survival Ascended is a survival game with gameplay based on exploration, crafting, base building, resource and inventory management, and tribe development. Gameplay - Join the ARK

Set on the mysterious island of ARK, Survival Ascended allows the player to take control of the lost and vulnerable human character. Try to survive in the dangerous and unknown environment - learn what you can about your surroundings, adapt to them, build and upgrade your shelter and become the best dinosaur breeder the island has ever seen!

The ARK: Survival Ascended video game includes all of the original ARK’s worlds such as Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, ARK Genesis Part 1, ARK Genesis Part 2, and more, as well as a new world called The Island. New additions are to be expected!

While ARK: Survival Ascended can be played in single player, the main focus of the game is the multiplayer mode, with PvP and co-op features alike. Join the cross-platform public multiplayer for up to 70 players, private sessions for up to 8 players, or enjoy the local split-screen fun for two!
