I’ve been a fan of Sloclap since their kung fu days, so when I heard they were making a soccer game, I had to try it. My first hour in REMATCH was pure chaos. I didn’t know the controls, my teammates refused to pass, and my mouse kept lagging. I almost rage quit, but after switching to a controller and learning the ropes, I got hooked. The game is fast, wild, and unpredictable—like Rocket League had a baby with Captain Tsubasa. Playing with friends makes it way better; solo queue is a gamble on whether your team will play football or just chase the ball like toddlers at recess. The tackling system needs more consistency, but when it works, it’s addictive. I can’t wait to see how it evolves
