Dine Out is the third additional content pack for The Sims 4 game, released in June of 2016. Dine Out allows the players’ Sims to visit various types of restaurants and even create their own businesses, the concept last seen in The Sims 2.

The Sims 4: Dine Out reintroduces dining out activity, absent in the last two games in the series. Players can now build their own restaurants completely from scratch or visit and customize several pre-made options. Created businesses can be managed in order to gain revenue in Simoleons, which can be later spent on new items for the place. While managing their place, players must remember about the satisfaction of the patrons. This can be achieved through promoting and leveling up their employees as well as tending to the particular needs of the customers. 

High satisfaction levels are rewarded with a higher star ranking, which in turn yields certain perks and increases the restaurant’s popularity.While visiting the food establishments in Dine Out, Sims can be seated alone or in groups, depending on the crowd in the restaurant. It makes a perfect chance to organize a romantic date or a friend outing. When ready, Sims can order food from the waiter. The food options in Dine Out are divided into four categories: appetizers, main courses, desserts and drinks. Only one type of food and drink can be ordered at a time.
