Gameplay
WARDOGS combines tactical first‑person shooting with large‑scale combined arms combat. Its main mode is inspired by King of the Hill, with three teams competing to control randomized Control Zones within a 256‑square‑kilometre sandbox map. Holding the active zone earns points, and the first team to reach the required score wins the match. Players purchase their loadout for each life using cash earned through their actions, starting each match with a base amount of in‑match funds. Fighting enemies is only one way to make progress: reviving allies, transporting teammates, supporting objectives, and handling logistics can also generate rewards, and cash persists between matches, adding another layer of decision‑making to when and how players invest in better equipment or vehicles.

Story

WARDOGS takes place in a modern militaristic setting across the derelict industrial mountains of Eastern Europe. Rather than placing a traditional narrative at the center of the experience, the game focuses on player‑driven battles where changing objectives, tactical decisions, destruction, and cooperation create different situations from match to match. The battlefield supports multiple approaches, letting players fight directly for objectives, provide long‑range sniper support, move supplies by helicopter, operate armored vehicles, build forward operating positions, or use explosives and heavy weapons to destroy enemy cover.
Graphics
WARDOGS uses a grounded modern military aesthetic built with Unreal Engine 5, set across industrial environments, towns, open terrain, vehicles, weaponry, and large combat zones. Destruction and construction make the battlefield visually dynamic, as buildings can be damaged while players create and reinforce defensive positions during combat, reshaping the same map differently from one match to the next.
