Among the gods

Age of Mythology is a real-time strategy video game and a spin-off from the Age of Empires series, with gameplay focused on defeating enemy mythological units and towns, expanding the player’s territory, and tribe management and development. The game stands out from the strategy crowd with its theme coming from mythologies and legends rather than from actual historical events, with Greek, Egyptian, and Norse traditions being the main inspirations behind the game.

A classic, retold

Considered a rerelease, Age of Mythology: Retold serves as the Definitive Edition of the original Age of Mythology, with many significant changes upgrading the gameplay and bringing the game to modern times. It’s a perfect choice for both fans of the original game and new players who would like to experience this magnificent strategy in a truly next-gen setting.

The game features and improves all the playable Age of Mythology content up to and including the Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon (2016) expansion, serving as a complete and refreshed version of Age of Mythology: Extended Edition (2014), which included the original game as well as The Titans (2003) expansion. The game can be played in single-player mode as well as multiple online co-op and PvP modes, including cross-platform multiplayer features.

New and improved

The Age of Mythology: Retold video game features various changes to the original production, with all units and animations being redone. The game's soundtrack was also changed, becoming a new, fully symphonic version of the score.

Amongst many tweaks, improvements, and modernizations regarding gameplay elements and god powers, Age of Mythology: Retold offers its players a stunning, brand-new look, with significant HUD changes and many technological upgrades.
