Plot

Wondering what the gameplay is all about and how the creators plan to keep you entertained for many hours? In Avowed, you take on the role of a messenger from the distant land of Aedyr, sent to the island of Living Lands to investigate rumors of a mysterious plague. Your mission quickly takes on a personal dimension as you discover deeper connections to this place than you initially thought.

The main storyline focuses on discovering the source of the plague and stopping its spread. Throughout the game, you face many moral dilemmas that affect the fate of the island and its inhabitants. Be careful with the decision you are making because they will affect the story and foremost the ending that awaits you.

Gameplay

Avowed offers a dynamic and visceral combat system that allows you to freely combine swords, spells, firearms, and shields. You can use your favorite fighting style to win. After all, that's what it's all about, right? You can use a grimoire to cast spells that freeze, burn, or trap enemies, depending on what you currently need. The victor's hand raised high should belong to you.

During your journey, you encounter various characters, both allies and enemies, who have their own goals and motivations. As you delve into the island's mysteries, you uncover ancient artifacts and forgotten spells that can help you combat the impending threat.
