Beast of Reincarnation (PC) - Steam Key - EUROPE

Beast of Reincarnation is an action role-playing game developed by Game Freak and published by Fictions. It follows Emma, an outcast marked by a corrupting affliction known as blight, and her dog companion Koo, as they travel through a post-apocalyptic version of Japan set in the year 4026. The developers describe it as a "one-person, one-dog action RPG," built around a combat system that blends real-time sword fighting with command-based abilities for Koo.

Beast of Reincarnation releases on August 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Some storefronts, including Steam's own listing, show August 3 because of how regional midnight launch times roll out globally - both dates can appear correct depending on your timezone and platform.

Beast of Reincarnation is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and the Xbox PC app). It also supports Xbox Cloud Gaming and is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning a digital purchase through Xbox works across both console and PC. As of this writing, no Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced.

The Digital Deluxe Edition typically bundles the base game with cosmetic extras: Black and Brown Shiba-styled skins for Koo, an "Oni's Hat" cosmetic for Emma, a themed sword called "Big Dipper," a larger allotment of the in-game currency Amber, and a set of decorative vegetable seedlings. These additions are cosmetic and do not affect gameplay balance.

Yes. Pre-ordering any edition has generally included a Brown Shiba-styled skin for Koo along with a bonus amount of Amber, the game's in-game currency. Exact bonus contents can vary by storefront and region, so check the specific listing before buying.

Beast of Reincarnation runs on Unreal Engine 5 and leans on upscaling technology to hit target frame rates. Minimum settings are generally aimed at 1080p and around 40fps using DLSS on RTX 20-series-or-newer cards, or FSR1 in performance mode, while recommended settings target 1080p at around 60fps with DLSS or FSR3. An SSD is required for installation, and the game requires a 64-bit processor and operating system.

Beast of Reincarnation is developed by Game Freak, the studio best known for the Pokemon series, and published by Fictions (formerly known as Private Division). It is directed by Kota Furushima, who previously worked on battle systems and sound design for Pokemon titles, and it marks Game Freak's first major release outside the Pokemon franchise.

Beast of Reincarnation is classified as an action role-playing game with adventure elements, and it is commonly described alongside souls-like and difficult, technical-combat titles. Combat blends real-time sword play from Emma with command-based abilities from Koo, triggered through a system that plays more like a turn-based RPG layered on top of the action.

Beast of Reincarnation carries a PEGI 16 rating in Europe for violence, and an ESRB Teen rating in North America for blood and violence.

Beast of Reincarnation supports a wide range of languages, including English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Korean, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Whether all languages include full voice-over or text only can vary, so it's worth checking the storefront listing for the breakdown by region.
