Beast of Reincarnation is a single-player action RPG from GAME FREAK that combines real-time sword combat with turn-based commands. Guide Emma and her canine companion Koo through a beautiful yet hostile post-apocalyptic Japan.
Beast of Reincarnation places players in control of Emma, a skilled swordswoman who fights alongside Koo, a mysterious blighted dog. Emma performs attacks, evasive moves, and sword techniques in real time, while players can issue commands that allow Koo to unleash powerful abilities. This combination of immediate action and tactical decision-making creates a combat system that rewards both reflexes and careful planning.
Players can customize Emma through unique skill trees, weapons, equipment, and spirit stones. Different loadouts support ranged, stealth-focused, defensive, or highly aggressive strategies. Emma and Koo must work together to overcome dangerous creatures and formidable bosses, gradually developing new abilities as their bond grows stronger.
The game takes place in Japan in the year 4026, long after a mysterious blight devastated civilization and transformed the natural world. Humanity’s remaining hope rests with Emma, an outcast shunned because of her affliction, and Koo, a blighted creature that would normally be considered an enemy.
