Gameplay

Revelations expands the aggressive first-person combat of DOOM: The Dark Ages with new enemies, environments, challenges, and the Chain Spear. The weapon introduces another layer to combat by rewarding mastery with increased power and mobility, giving experienced players new ways to move around encounters and tear through demonic forces.

The expansion also places greater emphasis on exploration and puzzles across six large campaign levels. After completing story challenges, players can continue testing their skills in Master Arenas and unlock additional content for Ripatorium 3.0, the game’s customizable arena challenge mode.

Story

Wounded and betrayed, the DOOM Slayer finds himself trapped in a merciless purgatory. To escape, he must confront haunting truths from his past and discover new strength with the help of a mysterious ally. His journey ultimately leads to a confrontation with an abomination created by the gods as he fights to place his followers on the path toward freedom.
