How does Axie work?
Axie Infinity is based on combat against computer-controlled Axie teams or live Internet opponents. During the game, users can sell Axies they produce, in-game real estate, and accessories on the NFT marketplace. They can also gain tokens generated by playing and competing in the game.
AXS is an Ethereum token that powers Axie Infinity, a blockchain-based game where players can battle, collect, and build a digital kingdom for their pets. Players can breed, raise and trade Axie creatures. Holders of AXS can claim rewards for staking tokens, game playing, and participating in key governance votes. Axie Infinity is built on the Ronin Network, an Ethereum-linked sidechain.
