Step 1: Create or Access Your Lumion Account

1. Visit the Lumion Account Portal.
2. Sign in using the email address associated with your Lumion purchase.
   • If you don't have an account, click “Create an account” and register using the same email address used during your purchase.

Note: If your Lumion Account email matches the one used for your purchase, your License Key may be automatically registered. Otherwise, you'll need to register it manually.

Step 2: Register Your License Key (If Not Auto-Registered)

1. Log in to your Lumion Account.
2. Navigate to the “License Keys” section.
3. Click “Register a License Key”.
4. Paste your License Key (found in your Lumion purchase confirmation email) into the provided field.
5. Click “Register” to associate the key with your account.

Important: As of April 16, 2025, the "Getting Started with Lumion" email no longer includes License Key details. To retrieve your License Key or Activation Code, log into your Lumion Account and navigate to the "License Keys" section .

Step 3: Download and Install Lumion

1. In your Lumion Account, go to the “License Keys” section.
2. Locate your registered License Key and click “Download Product”.
3. Run the downloaded installer.
   • If prompted, enter your Activation Code (available in your Lumion Account).
   • The installer will download and install all necessary files.

Tip: Ensure you have administrative rights on your PC during installation .

Step 4: Activate Lumion

1. Launch Lumion after installation.
2. Sign in using your Lumion Account credentials.
3. If you have multiple License Keys, select the appropriate one when prompted.

Note: For named-user licenses (e.g., Lumion Pro or Lumion View), ensure that a License Administrator has assigned a seat to your account. Only users with assigned seats can activate and use Lumion .
