It's an alien vs human game combining a first-person shooter with strategy features where players choose one side and do whatever it takes to ensure victory for their team. The title provides a fresh approach to its genre, making two players of both teams Commanders who can watch the action unfold from a top-down perspective and support their people in real-time.
Gameplay
Natural Selection 2 is a multiplayer action video game where you can join a team of Marines or Aliens. Get ready for intense matches with up to 32 players where survival is all that matters! Each team can use unique weapons or skills to eliminate the opponent. Marines wield a deadly arsenal of weapons, including grenade launchers, rifles, jetpacks, powerful exosuits, and more. The alien combat system focuses on the division in terms of specific skills. Skulk runs on walls, Gorge is a healer, Lerk flies, Onos terrifies with its massiveness, and Fade kills by surprise.
Maps are crucial in every battle as they feature fully interactive details to use against your opponent. When it comes to deadly creativity, the sky is the limit! And don't forget about the Commander, who, watching the fight from above, can effectively support his team. By coordinating operations, building structures, or dropping ammunition, he can instantly change the course of even the most desperate fight for survival. The Natural Selection game is one of the most addictive titles on Steam, surprising with its innovative gameplay and the ever-changing situation on the map. It is also an excellent and fun recommendation for players tired of classic titles like CS: GO.
