The Walking Dead Onslaught is a VR, survival-horror video game developed by Survios - a studio known for making Virtual Reality games. The game gives us an opportunity to step into the role of one of the characters from AMC's The Walking Dead, and immerse into the world full of brutality, crawling with always-hungry undead. The game features decent graphics, and the general atmosphere matches the one from the show. TWD Onslaught offers only a single-player experience and requires full Virtual Reality equipment.
The world we know has ended. It is now ruled by mindless zombies killing everything and everyone they come across. To makes matters worse, some people are even more dangerous and ruthless than the undead. Every day in this destroyed world is a survival of the fittest. During the campaign players will step into the role of one of the characters, trying to live through another day of this new, cruel reality.
During the game, players will spend most time fighting with enemies - the dead, and the living. In combat, we can use various types of melee weapons, as well as firearms. It is worth mentioning that every weapon deals different types of damage, visible on the enemies' bodies. In the arsenal, we can find various types of pistols, rifles, shotguns, knives machetes, and blunt weapons. Additionally, while fighting we can even dismember and decapitate the enemy. Fighting gives a decent dose of freedom and players can play exactly the way they want.
