The Monster Hunter Wilds video game is the sixth entry of the main Monster Hunter series. Delve into the world of the Forbidden Lands and explore the most lifelike environments ever seen in the series, with three states - Plenty, Fallow, and Inclemency - introduced as a changeable characteristic of the area. Each state features different weather conditions and various creatures' presence, ranging from peaceful Plenty inhabited by large packs of herbivores all the way to dangerous Inclemency with its volatile and hostile weather and dangerous monsters around.
Choose one of countless quests and get hunting! Hunters can take two weapons into a hunt now - they can be swapped with the help of their Seikret. The armour system has also gained some changes, with both Male and Female armor designs available to be equipped regardless of the hunter’s gender and new Set Bonuses activation rules.
Gameplay modes
Monster Hunter Wilds will feature both single-player and multiplayer modes. Single-player mode is a perfect choice for brave adventurers seeking challenge and willing to hunt alone in search of powerful materials and gear to take down stronger and stronger opponents.
Online multiplayer will allow hunters to gather in lobbies and delve into co-op hunting adventures together. Monster Hunter Wilds is the first entry in the Monster Hunter series to allow crossplay between all major current-gen platforms, with simultaneous release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Microsoft Windows devices.
