RIFT: Storm Legion

The expansion pack introduces two brand new continents, both of which are comparable in size to the one from the original version of the game.

Attention! Requires Rift Online Standard version of the game. Expansion set gives you: expansion Souls (Harbinger, Tempest, Tactician, and Defiler).

The first one is Dusken. It is a dark and grim place which seems more horror than fantasy. By visiting this part of the world, we'll discover the history of Regulos – a dragon deity which came from the dimension of death. The second continent is Brevane and has a lighter atmosphere. Within it, there stands the Eternal City, which is the cradle of the Telaran civilization. The new zones include the Tempest Bay metropolis which acts as a base for both playable factions, that is the Guardians and the Defiant. Both previously mentioned cities (Dusken and Brevane) offer a very expansive storyline. The story is told both via single-player missions and zone-wide events. The expansion completes the story of Storm Queen Crucia, who wants to bring her legions to the world of Telara.

One of the most important elements of character development in the original version of Rift is the usage of souls, and Storm Legion can certainly arrange for a large number of fresh corpses, which will add to the gameplay. Additionally, the level cap has been raised to 60. The developers also created new dungeons, additional raids and one Chronicle, i.e., an instance revolving mainly around the story. A number of fresh events is also included. Amongst these, one is sure to garner some attention – the battle against the Colossus, whose size is many times larger than the average character and can destroy walls, climb bridges and do things no other monster did in an MMORPG. It should also be noted that the expansion features private dimensions for single players and their teams. With those, players can rent buildings and locations without impacting the overall world of the game.
