Gameplay
Take control of the HSP46 diesel locomotive and navigate the high-speed Northeast Corridor, sharing tracks with Amtrak services. Experience realistic train operations, including push/pull configurations, passenger boarding, and door operations in Conductor Mode. Tackle three new scenarios featuring challenges like train rescues and formation building. The game also supports Livery Designer, Formation Designer, and Scenario Planner, allowing you to customize and share your creations via the Creators Club.
Story
The HSP46 represents a new era for MBTA, replacing older equipment on key commuter routes into Boston. Designed with passenger comfort in mind, the locomotive features a striking livery chosen by the public, combining magenta, yellow, grey, and black. Originally part of the Framingham/Worcester Line, the HSP46 now operates on the Providence/Stoughton Line, offering an immersive rail service experience.
