The Division 2: Warlords Of New York is an expansion for the looter-shooter MMO game, developed by Ubisoft and released in 2019. The DLC introduces a completely new map, storyline, new enemies, weapons, gear, and many smaller and bigger changes in terms of the gameplay. Warlords of the New York presents the same high-quality graphics as the base version of the game.

Story Background

The action of the Division 2 DLC focuses on already mentioned Arron Keener, one of the first Division agents, who rebelled against the organization and decided to take control over New York. In order to do that, he wants to use his knowledge and abilities to create an even more deadly strain of the virus that has already killed a huge part of the population, known as the Dollar Flu. The player's mission is to stop the rogue agent at all costs. In order to do that, we must first face his four powerful followers, the titular Warlords of New York.

Gameplay and Mechanics

Just like it is in the original game, the action is presented from the third-person perspective (TPP), with the camera placed behind the back of the player's character. The DLC does not change the main gameplay mechanics - during the game players will spend their time completing new, challenging missions, fighting enemies scattered throughout the whole map, and look for powerful gear that will help them survive in this dangerous reality. Warlords of the New York expansion introduces a completely new plot, during which players will meet new characters, visit the new map, and face new enemies. It is worth mentioning that the level cap has been increased to 40, and the character development system has been modified.
