Gameplay
Total War: Warhammer III - Lords of the End Times Bundle adds four campaigns built around dramatically different strategic goals. Nagash focuses on creating an overwhelming undead empire, recovering the Books of Nagash and gathering his Mortarchs on the path toward godhood. His armies can draw troops from multiple undead factions, providing unusual flexibility when building forces.
Thanquol approaches conquest through Skaven schemes and Masterplans. His campaigns revolve around secret armies, rituals, raids and elaborate plots that can develop unexpected complications. On the battlefield, the Grey Seer combines magic with Boneripper and new Skaven forces including multiple Stormfiend variants and Verminlords.
Boris Todbringer offers a more traditional Empire-focused struggle. Victory over the Empire's enemies generates Fervour that can be invested in the Great Temple of Ulric and its Sanctuaries. His armies combine the established Empire roster with new Middenland forces such as Teutogen Guard, Knights Panther and Knights of the White Wolf.
The Glottkin favour relentless corruption and durable Chaos armies. They can transform settlements into Gardens of Corruption, spread plagues and obtain Gifts of Nurgle while fielding troops from the Warriors of Chaos and Nurgle Daemon rosters alongside their new units.
Story
The bundle draws inspiration from Warhammer's apocalyptic End Times, bringing several of the setting's most important characters into Immortal Empires. Nagash returns to turn the living world into a realm of undeath and ascend to godhood, while the Glottkin seek to remake conquered lands in Nurgle's image.
Thanquol pursues his characteristically ambitious Skaven schemes with Clan Scruten and Boneripper, spreading destruction through increasingly elaborate plans. On the opposing side stands Boris Todbringer, Elector Count of Middenland, determined to defend the Empire and settle his long-standing conflict with Beastlord Khazrak One-Eye.
Rather than following one fixed storyline, each Legendary Lord approaches the End Times from a different perspective, with individual objectives and campaign mechanics shaping the player's path through Immortal Empires.
Graphics
Lords of the End Times expands Total War: WARHAMMER III's dark fantasy battlefields with four distinct visual themes. Nagash commands spectral warriors, undead constructs and towering monsters, while Thanquol brings warped Skaven machinery and mutated creatures into battle.
Boris Todbringer's forces feature the heraldry, heavy armour and warrior traditions of Middenland and the Cult of Ulric. The Glottkin provide a stark contrast with corrupted landscapes, diseased warriors, daemonic creatures and monstrous servants of Nurgle. Large armies, character models, spell effects and huge fantasy creatures help give every faction its own battlefield identity.
