An atmospheric masterpiece

Set during the historical event of World War I’s Battle of Verdun (1916), Conscript is an intense survival/psychological horror video game telling a haunting story of a French soldier searching for his brother. Despite being a part of the horror genre, the game does not feature any supernatural elements, making it an unusually realistic, grim, and soul-stirring production perfect for every player looking for an unforgettable experience.

Inspired by cult classics such as the Resident Evil series, Conscript is a single-player top-down survival horror game that impressively mixes retro aesthetics and classic horror features with a modern twist. Unique pixel art graphics, impressive sound design, and the unforgettable setting of trench warfare, rather unusual for the genre, make it a true gem amongst the psychological horror crowd.

The Conscript video game was developed with mature audiences in mind as it contains scenes of explicit violence, gore, and other disturbing elements.

Hope and survival

Conscript is a truly unique horror experience with high replayability due to its various difficulty settings, multiple endings, and unlockables such as costumes and bonus weapons, causing you to always come back for more.

With gameplay focused on exploration, combat, and environmental puzzles solving, Conscript is a highly immersive yet challenging production. Use your weapons to fight dangerous enemies, including hostile soldiers and ever-hungry rats plaguing the gloomy trench areas, and plan your route carefully to - hopefully - reach the end of your terrifying journey and find your missing-in-action family member.
