Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game is a standalone DLC based on "Hearts of Iron", created by a team of experienced modders. The game includes both short and long campaigns depicting the darkest chapters of the history of the 20th century - from the outbreak of World War I to the beginning of the Cold War. 

Darkest Hour includes a new artificial intelligence system that can respond simultaneously to hundreds of different situations, and an advanced diplomacy system that allows you to influence the course of history.

Gameplay

Darkest Hour Full provides different grand campaign scenarios (where it is possible to choose any of the nations involved) or battle scenarios (focused on single theaters of operations, with only a few nations involved and playable)

The scenarios are:

1936 - The Road to Another War

The player can build land divisions, aircraft fleets and ships / navies and combine them into corps and armies. The player also has the ability to control the appointment of military commanders of land, air and sea units, as well as control the appointment of individual government ministers and military commanders to key positions in the General Staff.
