Delve back into the captivating and gloomy universe of Elden Ring with Elden Ring Nightreign - a stand-alone action role-playing game once again representing the best of what the beloved souls-like genre has to offer. Set in Limveld, a mysterious area within the Limgrave region, Nightreign invites its players to test their skills and face the deadly Nightlord in a one-of-a-kind adventure taking place in parallel to the events of the original Elden Ring’s timeline.

An ever-changing adventure

While Nightreign continues Elden Ring’s tradition of utilizing the atmospheric setting, challenging combat sequences, and original storytelling achieved through cryptic, fragmented pieces, it is also a brand-new experience within the franchise due to its unlikelihood to previous FromSoftware productions.

Every Nightreign game is different as enemies, rewards, and the constantly changing Limveld environment are evolving each session. Depending on decisions such as exploring different parts of the map or defeating more challenging enemies will also result in various gameplay changes, including, but not limited to, acquiring greater weapons and Rune rewards.

A souls-like masterpiece

Similar to the core Elden Ring experience, Elden Ring Nightreign’s gameplay is focused on engaging in brutal and unforgiving combat sequences. Face various new opponents, including regular creatures and enemies as well as deadly bosses, and do anything and everything you can to defeat them!

Nightreign features both bosses needing to be defeated for game progression and optional boss fights. The game is based on a three-day-and-night cycle, and in order to progress onto a new day after a night, you and your teammates have to defeat the Night Boss summoned once the appropriate size of the ever-changing Ring of Blue Flames is reached.

A multiplayer experience

While the Elden Ring Nightreign video game can be played in single-player mode, the franchise fans once again have an amazing opportunity to experience the new Elden Ring game with other players. Since Nightreign was developed with multiplayer in mind, you’re more than welcome to join forces with your friends, with 3-player online co-op available!

Every hero has their own abilities and can create powerful synergies when their and their teammates' skills are combined. With eight Nightfarers - classes of the game - to choose from, countless possibilities of synergies occur, granting even more unique experience with every session. Additionally, teammates can revive dead players so they can continue the boss fight - unlike previous FromSoftware, Inc. games, in Nightreign the progress of a character will not be reset right away. Find Sites of Grace to level up your hero and gain new powers crucial for your team’s survival!
