Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is an action role-playing video game and a part of the beloved Final Fantasy franchise. FF7 Rebirth was developed and published by Square Enix in February of 2024. It is a standalone game and the second installment in a planned trilogy of Final Fantasy VII remakes, making it a sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake from 2020. As for now, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
The journey continues
The game starts right after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake, when the protagonists leave the Midgar metropolis in order to reach the Forgotten Capital. Once again the player controls Cloud Strife, a former Shinra Corporation soldier currently fighting against the company and their unethical actions as a member of the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE. Help Cloud and his brave comrades pursue the fallen hero, Sephiroth, and save the Planet from Shinra’s disgusting exploitation!
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a sensational open-world action RPG - a part of the remake trilogy of the classic Final Fantasy VII (1997) that continues the tradition of modern FF gameplay with its real-time combat and exploration. The game is designed with single-player experience in mind, and offers amazing next-gen graphics and technical solutions for the ultimate modern Final Fantasy experience.

The main focus of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s gameplay is both exploration of the map and completing various main and side quests, and complex combat using the Active-Time Battle system introduced in Final Fantasy VII Remake.
