In New Super Lucky’s Tale, the player controls the titular character – a little fox with a knack for helping others. This time he must protect the Book of Ages from the paws of evil cat Jinx. The game features four colorful worlds where the player can test their platforming skills looking for various items and completing challenges. Lucky, the main character of the game is not only clever and brave but also very agile. Our little fox can jump over obstacles, burrow in the ground, digging out hidden items and swipe his tail to attack. The player will have to employ all of these skills to pass challenges waiting in the levels.
The challenges the player will have to face involve employing the character’s mobility. They include jumping across gaps, burrowing under obstacles and swiping at hidden platforms to activate them. Each challenge is different also in its presentation – some involve roaming about a 3D arena solving puzzles, others are 2D side-scrolling obstacle courses.
Story of a friendly fox
Lucky is a small fox with a brave heart. His only wish is to help those in trouble. When his sister asks him to help her guard the Book of Ages – a mysterious volume containing entire worlds and people living in them – Lucky doesn’t hesitate to do it. When an evil cat Jinx decides to steal the Book, Lucky must gather all of his courage and go after Jinx to stop him from causing harm to the inhabitants of the worlds within the Book of Ages. On his quest, he will face many challenges and dangers but Lucky won’t give up until the book is safely returned!
