Iron Lung is a short dread-driven submarine horror game from the developer of DUSK, The Moon Sliver, and Squirrel Stapler. Navigate a claustrophobic sub through an ocean of blood, relying on limited tools to survive the unknown horrors lurking in the depths.
Gameplay
Set entirely within the cramped confines of the "Iron Lung" submarine, you must blindly navigate a terrifying ocean of blood using only an incomplete map, proximity sensors, and a grainy external camera. With no direct view outside, you must take photographs of key locations while avoiding whatever lurks in the darkness. The gameplay is minimalist yet intense, relying on sound, limited visuals, and careful movement to build tension and dread.
Story
Decades after the sudden disappearance of all known habitable worlds, humanity's remnants struggle to survive. When a mysterious Blood Ocean is discovered on a barren moon, you are sent to investigate in a makeshift submarine. Your mission: photograph anomalies deep below the surface before the sub fails—or something far worse finds you. The deeper you go, the more unsettling the truth becomes.
