Everhood was an adventure RPG that focused on a rhythm-based combat system, rather than a standard strategy or turn-based combat system. There is one condition that you must meet to get to the land of Everhood. The voice that introduces you to the game tells you that you must accept immortality and abandon humanity behind. Everhood Gameplay
Each enemy in the game will have its own battle theme and will time its attacks to the beat of the song. Nonetheless, in contrast to conventional rhythm games, your objective is to evade enemy attacks rather than executing them. At the commencement of the game, it is imperative to avoid attacks by leaping over them or evading to the side. Initially, it is imperative to endure the entirety of the song to progress. However, in later stages of the game, battles continue until the enemy's health is exhausted due to the constant battles.
