Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Zombies Chronicles Edition

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a first-person shooter game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. The game is the third installment of the Black Ops sub-series of Call of Duty games. In BO III, the player can play through a single-player campaign featuring a cooperative mode, or enjoy the classic Call of Duty multiplayer experience.

The Zombie Mode, a staple of the series, returns in this title as well, and the Zombie Chronicles Edition adds upgraded classic maps from the previous installments.

Gameplay

CoD: Black Ops III's gameplay follows the well-trodden path of the previous titles in the series. The game's main draw are the intense shootouts between the player and the NPCs in the single-player campaign or live players online. The game introduces several changes to the mechanics.

The main alteration is the introduction of the co-op mode in the single-player campaign. Now, the player can carry out missions together with up to four others. The campaign level design has also been changed, with closed corridors replaced by more open areas. The player can also customize their campaign character, giving them a unique look.

In multiplayer mode, a new movement system based around the use of thrusters is introduced, allowing the player to perform power slides and wall runs, among others.

Story Summary

The story of Black Ops III is set 40 years after the events of the previous installment. During that time, a global conflict between two factions - Winslow Accords and Common Defense Pact - has erupted. Using state-of-the-art weaponry, such as directed-energy weapons and artificial intelligence, these global superpowers struggle for control of the Earth's future.

As a member of the Winslow Accords task force, the player is sent behind the enemy lines to carry out various clandestine operations that may turn the tide of the war.
