In The Sims 3: Ambitions expansion you are in control of your Sim’s work life, you decide if it is going to be a path to a great career by working hard and making it to the top or using a number of features to cause mischief. SimBots now are available for you to purchase or construct by skilled inventor sims and will function as additional family members although with different needs and characteristics. Additionally, in this expansion, you get access to a new town that will help your Sims in following their career, with many buildings focused on developing the new professions.

New career paths

Choose from one of the new career paths: become an Architect to change the neighborhood, an Investigator to solve crimes to bring justice to the community or hunt ghosts to bring peace to other Sims. Develop your creative side by becoming a Stylist and create art on the Sim’s skin or be an Inventor who constantly tries to invent something useful and original to contribute to the Sim’s society. Lastly, become a hero – a firefighter, the Sim that is respected by the community for his devotion to saving other Sims’ lives. Alternatively, your Sims can become freelancers and focus on their own creative aspirations after registering as self-employed.

Control your Sims

Each of the new career paths allows you to follow your Sim and control their actions during their time at work, which gives you greater influence over the end result of your work. As an architect, for example, you will be able to choose the furniture and decorations to suit your client’s wish and as a stylist, you will try to satisfy your customers with your fashion choices.
