Bayonetta (猎 天使 魔女) is a third-person action game developed by PlatinumGames and released by SEGA in 2017 for the PC. It is one of the best titles in its genre, praised for its legendary gameplay on Steam. Bayonetta came to life under the leadership of Hideki Kamiya, known for classics like Devil May Cry or Resident Evil.

Story

Bayonetta has awakened from her eternal slumber to find herself in the city of Vigrid. Initially deprived of memories, she recalls the events from 500 years ago when the Umbra Witches and Lumen Sages factions cared for the balance between Darkness and Light. As it turns out, the heroine has an incredibly valuable artifact, and that's why the forces of Heaven will do anything to recover it and eliminate the protagonist from this game of battling powers.

Gameplay

Bayonetta game is an action-adventure recommendation with slasher elements featuring one of the strongest female characters in the genre. Using a katana, a whip, or four guns, the heroine fights against hordes of celestial opponents in extremely spectacular combat scenes. She can boost the effects of these weapons with unique attacks, flashy combos, or slowing down time.

But her best weapon is long hair that allows her to summon giant hellish demons capable of defeating the most powerful enemies. While battling bosses, she uncovers more details of the complex plot about her destiny and the meaning of existence.
