Story

Become Eddie Riggs, a roadie who under mysterious circumstances has been sucked into a fantasy world. You wake up in the Temple of Ormagöden and meet Ophelia. Roam the unknown territories, slay the demons and learn that you may be the true god of heavy metal music.

In Brutal Legend, it is possible to use Eddie's superpowers. Yes, he is an excellent warrior armed with an axe, however, he is also an exceptional driver who is able to fly thanks to his magnificent wings. Eddie's guitar is an unusual weapon too, its powerful sound can deal with the entire horde of enemies just by itself!

Army of troops

During your adventures, you will defeat demons and free groups of people from their grasp. Some of them will tag along with you, each with different abilities and strengths. Make difficult decisions and command your troops to strategically strike at the enemies.

Brutal Legend offers original music filled to the brim with heavy metal tracks. During the gameplay, we can listen to such heavy metal bands as Candlemass, Black Sabbath, or KISS. Even the protagonist is voiced by a legendary Jack Black, a leader of Tenacious D.

• Multiplayer Mayhem - 4v4 "skirmish" multiplayer marries action combat with a strategic unit-control mechanic. As the leader of one of the factions in the game, the player will direct his armies in a Battle of the Bands where the trophy is survival. Brütal Legend’s multiplayer is online-enabled, so you can conquer your friends online (broadband connection required for online play).
