Silica is a game available in Early Access since May 3, 2023, with its full release planned for 2024. This title is a unique fusion of FPS and RTS set in a futuristic sci-fi world. Impossible? The creators of Silica - Bohemia Incubator - think otherwise! Thanks to that, they have presented us with a fantastic production featuring phenomenal graphics and immersive gameplay. Are you ready to take part in an epic war against aliens?
The story is set on a recently discovered planet named "Baltarus". Initially, this planet seemed hostile and barren, but since the discovery of Balterium deposits (a unique crystal that serves as an energy source) people have noticed its potential. This has led to the division of humanity and a fight for this precious resource. Soon, it is also revealed that the planet is not as desolate as it may seem - it is inhabited by gigantic space creatures.
Silica is an exceptional game mainly because it features… 2 gameplays (!), depending on the character class you choose. You can play as a Commander in the strategic mode, with an isometric view, and control warfare and subordinate units. However, if you prefer more dynamic gameplay, choose the soldier class and enter the battlefield with a futuristic rifle in hand in FPS mode!
You can also choose between character races - pick one of the two human armies attempting to take over the planet and its valuable resources, or join the horde of giant, insect-like aliens and hunt soldiers while defending the planet’s riches.
Silica video game also offers cooperative play.
