Just like the graphics, the gameplay is modernized and heavily improved while maintaining the RPG elements of the original FF7. The combat is now more fast-paced and action-like. With a party of up to 8 characters, you'll be exploring the game's world and fighting a great many enemies that will stand in your way. Both exploration and combat are performed in real-time with the exception of the Active Time Battle system (ATB) that allows pausing the game once the ability bar is filled by attacking enemies. Each character has a set of unique abilities, the party is able to summon giant creatures to help them and use special charged attacks. Outside of action combat, you'll be managing the party's equipment and magic to prepare them for the fights to come!
