GRAVEN is a first-person shooter in a dark fantasy realm. It was developed by Slipgate and published by 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment. The game brings together 90s graphical aesthetic, tenebrous atmosphere and magic. As a title in early access, it is still being updated, however fans of the genre recommend the GRAVEN game for its solid foundation, nostalgic gameplay and beautiful design.

Story of a faithful priest

GRAVEN casts you as an exiled priest who seeks redemption after sacrificing his adoptive daughter. The game start when you arrive at the backwater village of Cruxfirth. The first mission you have to complete is to get through the gates, but it is not that simple. First, you need to clear out piles of corpses that blocks the sewer system. Get hold of a powerful staff and spell book and embark on a mission that turns out to be the hunt for vicious men responsible for conjuring plagues.

Gameplay

This first-person puzzler will take you on a journey through three vast regions. During your journey, you will encounter shambling plague victims who were driven to homicidal madness. Take them out using your staff, use magic, or gear up in the blacksmith. You can also choose to arm yourself with a piercing crossbow. Manage your inventory wisely as there is limited space, and you may carry up to only 10 items!
