Story

Just Cause 2 tells the story of Rico Rodriguez, an operative of the fictional agency known as the Agency. Rico is sent to the island to overthrow the dictator Baby Panay and restore democracy to the island. Rico is determined to uncover the truth behind the Agency's actions, and he sets out to take down Baby Panay and his regime. Along the way, the hero encounters a variety of characters, including allies and enemies, who help or hinder his progress.

The game's plot is divided into three main factions: the Panauan government, the Ular Boys, and the Reapers. Each faction has its agenda and Rico can choose to work with or against them. As Rico completes missions and progresses through the story, he will learn more about the true nature of the Agency's mission, and the secrets that the island holds.

Rico is also on a quest to find his mentor, Tom Sheldon, who has gone missing on the island. Rodriguez will learn that Sheldon was working on a secret project that could change the balance of power on the island. Gameplay
