Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite gives you an interesting story mode

This is the first time in Marvel vs Capcom history when two universes collide with each other in an epic story mode, as both heroes and villains battle as one in order to be able to defeat a new and sinister threat - Ultron Sigma. This psychotic villain is obsessed with infecting all organic life with a cybernetic virus. Heroes known from both universes have to cooperate in order to defeat Ultron Sigma. Luckily, they are going to get help from a surprising ally. Thanos (one of the main antagonists in most of Marvel comics, movies etc.) decided to help you in order to stop Ultron Sigma.

Choose from a huge variety of characters from both universes

The game provides you with enormous character roster from which you can choose. The Marvel universe offers the following characters: Black Panther, Black Widow, Capitan America, Capitan Marvel, Doctor Strange, Dormammu, Gamora, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Nova, Rocket Raccoon, Spider-Man, Thanos, Thor, Ultron, Venom and Winter Soldier. Capcom on the other hand, gives you such interesting characters like: Arthur, Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, Dante, Frank West, Firebrand, Jedah Dohma, Mike Haggar, Monster Hunter, Morrigan Aensland, Nathan Spencer, Nemesis, Ryu, Sigma, Strider Hiryu, X and Zero. Even though a few of these characters are available as DLC, still it is a long list to choose from.

Grasp the infinite power

Choose one of the six powerful Infinity Stones from the Marvel Universe to influence the outcome of the battle. Infinity Stones will customize characters with unique abilities and powerful effects which are capable of completely turning tides of the battle. How do they work? There are two variations in which stones can be used - surge and storm, both give your character different abilities depending on what type of stone you are currently using (there are power, time, space, reality, mind and soul).

Surge of Time gem allows you to teleport you at a short distance while reality surge creates a homecoming projectile which follows your enemy. However much more interesting and game changing is the storm. For example storm ability of the mind gem is to refill the hyper combo gauge to maximum, while space storm traps the opponent inside the Space Infinity Storm's box on their last positions, thus unable to Tag-In with their teammates and go to other positions. Infinity gems are important elements of the gameplay.
