Story
You are a lone hero on the way to discovering the darkest truth. Become a fearless adventurer and embark on a dangerous journey! This once-flourishing kingdom is now completely ruined, and you will learn about the cause of its dramatic collapse. And if not you, your children will.
Gameplay
Rogue Legacy 2 features simple gameplay mechanics you can master in one second. Embark on an adventure as a hero of one of the fifteen classes and discover your skills on a risky journey through the fallen kingdom. Your job is to carefully explore the procedurally generated world, discover its secrets, fight hordes of enemies and find treasures! On your way, you will meet fascinating characters who will introduce you to the history of this mysterious place. Collect plot pieces and put them together to understand the unspeakable tragedy that hit the kingdom.
The title features roguelike elements with a unique approach to the protagonist's death. If you die - there is still hope! Your grand adventure will continue with one of your three children, choosing one of the thirteen available classes. However, each descendant has completely different features and skills that can make the gameplay easier or more challenging. The game, however, repays for the lack of skills with better loot or other bonuses. And before possible death, you can train your children in your private residence and constantly expand or improve it.
The world of the Rogue Legacy 2 game is a series of endless surprises with a new adventure around every corner! Explore an extraordinary variety of biomes and discover stunning views hiding hundreds of treasures and secrets. You will also find completely new items like heirlooms and relics. They can have a massive impact on your gameplay, boosting your character's skills or introducing new details. Use them to your advantage and develop your experience! At the end of the road, an epic battle with a powerful boss awaits - you must be well-prepared to defeat him. But as the creators of the title say - this is just the beginning of your fantastic journey! A procedurally generated world and high replayability guarantee new adventures with each gameplay! Even the last boss isn't final, and the kingdom still hides tons of dark secrets to discover.
